Northside Wizards Basketball Men’s team has added some magic to their roster with the signing of NBL star Cameron Tragardh.  The 206cm forward suited up for the Townsville Crocodiles in the NBL in 2004-2006, then the championship-winning Brisbane Bullets in 2007.

This year Cam is the shining star for the Wollongong Hawks and is currently favoured to take out the NBL Most Improved Player Award for 2007-08.  Tragardh is no stranger to the ABA either, boasting some impressive stats in recent years.

"Cameron is a huge signing for our team" said head coach Paul Haly. "If his NBL form this year is anything to go by he will be an MVP contender for sure. Cameron complements our roster perfectly, and with Diesel, Davis and Sykes amongst those returning we are planning a fantastic show for our growing contingent of Northside basketball fans this year."
Tragardh welcomed the opportunity to stay in Brisbane and spend some quality time with his family in the NBL off-season. "I like what the Wizards have done with their program in the last couple of years." he said. "They have a great family atmosphere and some talented players on their roster. I’m looking forward to a great season with them".

First home game for the Wizards is on Sunday 20th April at the Sports Centre, Boondall.
