Dusty Rychart's Brisbane Capitals have eliminated Cameron Tragardh and the Northside Wizards in the QABL quarter finals despite a 51 point & 17 rebound haul from Tragardh.

Dusty had 24 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the Capitals who came back from an 11 point 3/4 time deficit to take a 106-103 win.

Despite playing without Andrew Bogut, the Australian Boomers threw a huge scare into gold medal favourites, the USA, before ultimately falling to the Americans 87-76 in Shanghai

Australia fell to defending Olympic Champions, Argentina 95-91 in the final of the Diamond Ball competition in Nanjing, China. Australia had built a 19-point lead early in the 3rd but a Luis Scola 28-point half proved too much for the Boomers.

Former Hawk CJ Bruton nailed a deep game winner as time expired to save the Boomers from an untimely upset, getting Australia home 81-78 over Angola in Nanjing, China on Thursday night.

ahm Hawk Glen Saville finished the first half with a carpark buzzer beating three to give the Boomers a 42-35 lead, their biggest of the half.
