Jackson Stays Put
Thursday, 01 May 2008

Local junior Dan Jackson has signed on for the 2008/09 NBL season with the Wollongong Hawks after an impressing rookie campaign.

Dan Jackson

As the Club’s Young Australian Player Jackson earned some extra minutes in the 2007/2008 season when he was required to step up after team mate Lindsay Tait was benched with a shoulder injury.

An Illawarra Junior Rep who always dreamed of playing for the Hawks, Jackson is pleased to be with the Hawks again next season.

During the off season Dan has been working hard on keeping his fitness up, playing for the IMB Seahawks in the Waratah League.

The Seahawks had an easy win on Saturday beating Manly 99-65 with Jackson contributing 13 points.
