IMB Seahawks lose match and Higgins |

The Jekyll & Hyde side of the IMB Seahawks returned in devastating
fashion in Parramatta on Saturday night, going down 95-94 after the
buzzer, giving up an early 31-point lead.
With the clock expired Parramatta were awarded a trip to the free throw line, needing just one for the win, Goran Veg missed the first but sank the second for an improbable comeback win.
The result though was overshadowed by the loss of hardworking guard Luke Higgins with a broken arm received in the 3rd quarter.
Midway through the second quarter Illawarra had established a 47-16 lead, by half-time it was 58-32 with the Seahawks looking comfortable.
Coach Matt Flinn described the Seahawks execution as the best of the season, added to great defensive intensity Parramatta had no answers.
But it all changed after the main break, another Seahawks team stepped on the court, consistent turnovers and a reduced effort gave the Wildcats a sniff and momentum started to swing.
The three late technicals & one intentional foul whistled against the visitors helped fuel Parramatta's comeback, and although questionable Flinn stated his team needs to be more disciplined.
Disappointed with the outcome and where it puts Illawarra on the ladder Flinn said "it was a big game for us, it would have either shot us into the top 4 possibly, however now we are right in the pack, and with 7 games left we will be in for a fight to make the play offs".
Dom Cooks had 20-points, 6-rebounds & 4-assists, ahm Hawk Daniel Jackson had 18,4 & 4.
Troy Pilon had an up-and-down return to competition with 14-points, 12-rebounds mixed in with 7-turnovers.
As a team Illawarra committed a staggering 28 turnovers, 12 more than Parramatta.
For the Wildcats Goran Veg had 33-points and 19-rebounds, and despite just two first half points Anto Lilac finished with 32-points.
UpcomingIllawarra visit Sutherland on Saturday May 24th (5pm) before a bye in Rd 12 before a run of home games at The Snakepit.
