Glen Saville played fifteen minutes during the Boomers 67-55 win over China in the Diamond Ball tournament in Nanjing, China on Wednesday afternoon.
Saville hit his only shot attempt, grabbed a couple of rebounds and collected a steal splitting his time between the Small Forward and at Shoot Guard when the Boomers went with a big lineup.
NBA Superstar Yao Ming had 14 points and 7 rebounds for China, fellow
NBA player Yi Jianlian was held scoreless by the Boomers tough D.
The Boomers front line of Chris Anstey, David Anderson and Andrew Bogut
top scored with 11,10 & 9 points respectively, Bogut also had a
game high 8 rebounds.
China drop to 1-1 after their 83-74 win over Angola on Tuesday.
Australia play Angola Thursday afternoon.
